It is a pleasure to serve the students, families, and staff of Orting High School as principal. Orting is my community and my home. I moved to Orting in 2007 and began working at OHS as a part-time school counselor. My wife is the librarian at Ptarmigan Ridge Elementary, and two of our children currently attend Orting schools—our oldest recently graduated with the Class of 2025.

Orting is a great place to live and work. The community’s support for our students and staff makes our schools a special place to prepare students for every opportunity they can dream of or imagine. The staff at OHS is outstanding and collectively shares a vision of success for all students, propelling them toward excellence every day.

I became the Assistant Principal in July 2019 and stepped into the role of Principal starting this school year. My decision to pursue school leadership came from a desire to bring stability and consistency to our school and to ensure that every student receives the best education possible during their time in our community. I am proud to be a Cardinal and remain committed to the long-term success of OHS and the entire Orting community.
