How you can support OHS ASB!

What is ASB?

ASB stands for Associated Student Body. The official student government and club organization. It’s the group of students who represent the student body to plan the fun events and handle the business side of student life.

About OHS ASB

OHS has a team of 2 adults (Advisor and Secretary) and 5 student Executive members who manage the decisions, business and money belonging to the student body. Planning and executing events and business is done with the assistance and decisions of the ASB class officers. OHS won the Jostens Renaissance Silver Award June 2026. This means, OHS ASB is committed and has fostered activities and programs to bring a positive culture to campus where every student and staff can be feel they belong.

What you do SUPPORTS OHS ASB!

Purchases for the general budget that support all ASB and the clubs/teams. These purchases include buying and ASB sticker, yearbooks, student store at lunch, other lunch activities, dance tickets, buy from our beverages machines around campus, buy from our concessions.

Attend Home Games High schools benefit from ticket sales into home games. When you buy an admission ticket into our games, it funds our (very large) bill for every support to pay for officials. If we do not secure enough 'door ticket' sales, we have to use general budget money to pay these bills. That's the financial reason! The better reason - show up for the athletes! Attendance at games, band and choir concerts, community events, etc. show our students that the hard work they put into their club or sport matters. Showing up!

Donations/Fundraisers. You can make general donations in InTouch to ASB. You can also make donations to a specific sport or club by visiting the main Bookkeeper/ASB Secretary, Mrs. Sluka. Also, if you see students asking for fundraising support, please support in any way you can. Sometimes these happen with door knocks, online crowdfunding, buying from event concessions and sales at ASB community events.

Own a local business? Consider offering discounts to OHS students who show their yellow ASB sticker on their student ID. Buy an ad space on our stadium fence.
